Set your eGPU port to G2 (assuming your have an adapter that supports G2, and your computer as well - if not, then skip setting the port to G2)
Use Driver Sweeper and check all the Nvidia options, run, reboot, turn off computer - don't install the driver for the dGPU yet Uninstall ALL (ALL MEANS ALL) (dGPU included!!!)
